Privacy & confidentiality

Your documents stay yours.

Translation clients hand over unreleased campaigns, clinical documentation and internal strategy. That deserves an explicit promise rather than a buried clause, so here is exactly what happens to what you send us.

Getting a quote uploads nothing

When you drop a file into the quote tool, it is read inside your own browser to count words and weigh terminology. The document itself is not transmitted to us or to any third party. Close the tab and nothing remains anywhere. Only the resulting numbers travel with a request you consciously send.

Confidential by default

Every document you send is treated as confidential without you having to ask. We don't quote client material publicly, don't use it as a sample, and don't discuss it outside the project. Where your organisation requires a signed NDA, we'll sign yours — just send it along.

Your content is never used to train AI

We work in a professional CAT environment (Phrase) with AI assistance. It runs under settings that exclude your content from model training, and the AI never sees material you have flagged as restricted. Translation memories and glossaries built from your work belong to your account and are never reused for another client.

Access is limited to the people doing the work

Files are accessible to the translator and reviewer on your project, nobody else. Where a project needs a second linguist, they're bound by the same confidentiality terms before receiving anything.

Storage and deletion

Project files are kept only as long as the project needs them, plus a short period afterwards so you can come back with corrections or a follow-up job. You can request deletion at any moment and we will confirm once it's done. Translation memories can be deleted too, or kept at your request so future work stays consistent.

Personal data

We hold the minimum needed to work with you: your name, your contact details and your project history. We don't sell data, don't share it with advertisers and don't run tracking that follows you across the web. Under the GDPR you can ask us what we hold, correct it, or have it removed.

Payments

Payment is handled by a regulated payment provider. Card details never reach our systems; we receive only the confirmation that a payment succeeded.

Questions about any of this?

Ask before you send anything. We'd rather answer ten questions than have you wonder.
